What is needed to run a website?
- A Domain Name - This is where visitors go to use your website. You cannot have a website on the internet without one. Domain names must be renewed, usually on an annual basis, to keep the website running at that address. You can purchase / renew most domains through TGL Design for £9.99 per year.
- Web Hosting - This is where all the files and content for the website is kept and accessed by website visitors. It is always needed in order for any website to be accessed on the internet. Web Hosting must be renewed, usually on an annual basis, to keep the website running at that address. Annual web hosting is available at TGL Design and is priced according to the size of the website and how much traffic (or 'hits') it gets.
